4-H Achievement Program

The goal of the Kentucky 4-H Achievement Program is to encourage positive youth development by awarding 4-H members for their accomplishments.

  • 4-H members earn points in the program by participating in 4-H clubs, projects, programs, activities and events.
  • Program participants receive recognition locally and at state events.
  • Youth can apply for non-competitive awards (Clover Levels 1-5) and can apply for competitive awards (Bronze - Emerald).
  • Competitive awards include scholarships to national and state 4-H conferences and higher education scholarships.
  • The program is intended to allow 4-H members to design their own 4-H career while encouraging them to become a well-rounded individuals.

At the end of each program year, 4-H members must submit an updated achievement application in order to be recognized. The 4-H Achievement application serves as a record book/resume of 4-H involvement and also includes a section where youth can earn points for activities outside of 4-H. Click on the link below to download a new application.
